1. Eufy Omni S1 Pro
The gunmetal and gloss black Omni S1 Pro from Eufy is among the most impressive mop and robot vacuum combos available. It makes use of lidar to navigate, creating maps of floors and rooms.
When I tested the S1, it was able to identify the downstairs area, which has laminate flooring in the kitchen, dining room and bathrooms, plus carpeting of medium-pile as well as a large area rug. It was capable of driving close to walls and even over thresholds that are raised without issue. However, it had some difficulty getting down the stairs in one step. The S1 also did a fantastic job of cleaning hard floors, with its mop driving smoothly on the flat side against the floor and then lifting itself when it was near carpet or rug.
After every mopping session, the docking station on the S1 automatically emptys its dust bin and fills up its water tank with filtered, clean water ozonated. The dock adds a deep-cleaning solution for the water. The S1's tank of water holds enough for about 12 cleaning sessions before it needs to be emptied, though this can vary based on how often you use the mop.
The S1 requires regular maintenance, just like other 2-in-1 robots. For this, you'll need to clean the water tank that is dirty regularly to avoid it from clogging. Also, you'll need to clean your sensors and swivel wheel regularly to avoid them getting blocked by dirt or dust. Overall, the S1 requires less maintenance than other combos.
2. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Combo Complete
This all-in-one robotic vacuum and mop combo from Ecovacs is a powerful option for cleaning needs. The Ecovacs robot vacuum has 8,700Pa of suction, and comes with a number of innovative features, including full home mapping, voice control, and smart path-planning to avoid obstructions and cleans furniture. The mopping capabilities of the robot are remarkable, with mops rotating that actually lift and scrub the floor rather than simply drag the pad across it. The mops can be dried and cleaned at the base station, if needed.
This robot has an easy interface that guides you through the process. It includes a hand vacuum that recharges for those hard-to-reach areas that the robot isn't able to reach as well as two water tanks that are automatically empty and filled when needed. It also has a range of settings that can be used to fine tune your cleaning preferences.
The Deebot X2 Combo Complete is a great vacuum cleaner. It has a powerful suction which can effortlessly remove dirt and other debris that other robots have difficulty with. Its navigation capabilities are quite good, though it could get stuck on small mats and rugs at my home (which you can alleviate by creating virtual boundaries in the app). Mopping capabilities are excellent, with a pair spinning mops which are able to lift and scrub floors, rather than just moving the pad across it. The mops are also cleaned with heated water, and dried in the base station as needed. Mops are also refilled from the top of the base station as required.
3. Dreame X40 Ultra
Dreame released the luxe X30 Ultra earlier this year and their new top-of-the-line robot vacuum and mop has even more impressive features. It boasts fantastic cleaning results and hands-off maintenance making it a top contender on our top robot vacuum and mop list. Its superior mapping capabilities, RGB AI smart recognition and a longer side brush will give you a thorough, customised clean.
The X40 Ultra does an excellent job of vacuuming, removing large and fine particles from hard floors as well as carpets. It cleaned the dirtiest areas of our tests efficiently while avoiding pet hairs and other dirt. The sweeping capability of the machine is enhanced by a sidebrush that swings out in order to get into areas that are difficult to reach and mop pads that run across baseboards.
Its navigation is nimble that can navigate tight spaces and negotiating stairs without missing a beat. Roborock's Q5 Pro is a 2-in-1 vacuum and mop robot designed to accomplish exactly that. It's simple to connect to your home Wi-Fi network, and works with Alexa and Apple Siri, making it an even more practical addition to your routine of cleaning.
The Q5 is a stripped-down version of the more expensive S-series models from the company, such as the flagship Roborock S8 maxV ultra. It is equipped with the same LIDAR mapping sensor, but cuts down on cost by removing mopping functions and using a lower-cost plastic body.
Even though it's not able to mop floors, the Q5 still has some of the best vacuum and mopping performance we've seen on a robot at this price. It has a suction power of 5500Pa, and an automatic empty system, so you don't have to empty the bin by hand each time. It also features a smart app that lets you select the type of floor and schedule cleanings, and an automatic water tank refill and wash system to allow hands-free operation.

The Q5 is among the few robots we test that didn't have trouble with high-pile carpets and area rugs, but it couldn't remove cables or kitty litter that's not a surprise given that it doesn't have AI-powered obstacle avoidance.

K10 Plus is the quietest robovac we have ever tested. It also has a unique mapping system that helps it reach tight corners and corners that other vacuums can't. The device also collects dust in a bigger dustbin which means you need empty it less frequently. It also has washable filters which reduces the cost. This robot can detect carpets and increase suction when needed. The app also allows you to mark off areas that you want it to stay clear of, which is a nice feature.
